Meredith D Breech is a curator based in Brooklyn, NY. Most recently, she held the role of Associate Director of Exhibitions at Fotografiska New York. Having worked at an international fine art gallery before shifting to museum work, her career has taken shape around a global perspective and an interest in uncovering untold stories in our shared history. In 2024 she was part of the inaugural cohort of the Studio Museum's Arts Leadership Praxis, where she strengthened her commitment to a collaborative and rigorous approach to curatorial work and Black cultural production. Meredith has curated highly regarded exhibitions with several contemporary lens-based artists including ONYX by Adrienne Raquel, prepare my heart by Kia LaBeija, and Milked in Africa by Tony Gum. She has a BA in Media, Culture, and the Arts from The King’s College.
